Donna Petersen created this cute little witch stirring her cauldron back in 1996. It was retired 3/8/09.
SOMETHING’S BREWING shows a little Miss Mousey in her orange dress, black cape and black witch’s hat getting ready for Halloween.
Instead of a nasty brew, her cauldron is filled with apple cider complete with real green apples. There are two extra jugs of cider at the ready beside her cauldron, as well as three extra green apples.
You will see the marks of authenticity on the bottom of the piece: the white year of issue sticker, the gold WFF sticker, and the inked initials “DP”.

Annette Petersen outdid herself with this flirtatious rendition of “Carmen”. The figurine was issued in 2000, and it retired in 2004.
The saucy Senorita “Carmen” is attired in a brilliant full red dress with a glittering red & green underskirt. Her skirt is lifted just high enough for everyone to catch her black
boots & pantaloons.
She peers provocatively from behind the intricately laced fan, which she holds close to her face.
Her Spanish dancer costume is complete with the roses and golden comb, which she wears in her hair. You can almost hear the click of her heels as she dances around the red rose on the floor.

| Part of the “Millpond Mice” series, William Petersen created WATERBUGS in 2000 and it was retired in 2006  We have a charming “Mousey” water vignette. A boy mouse and a girl mouse lean from their red canoe to watch a mini green canoe manned by three ladybugs. Another mouse friend hangs from the red canoe, in the water, also watching the mini canoe. The water is sparkling clear blue-green. |
