BEST IN SHOW M-280 (Retired)

Retired in 2008, William Petersen created BEST IN SHOW in 2002.

Little Miss MOUSEY is parading her pet caterpillar in a pet competition to win the BEST IN SHOW title.

Miss Mousey is wearing a crisp yellow & white dress complete with a large bow at her back. She proudly walks her smiling green caterpillar on a pink leash with a bow around the neck.
The detail is so good you can see the spots on the caterpillar’s side and the long double dark green stripe down his back.

The marks of authenticity are on the bottom of the piece: the stamped imprint which reads “2002 William Petersen”,
the gold WFF sticker, and the inked initials “WP”.

Annette Petersen was the artist who created SEA SOUNDS in 1991.
The entire edition was retired in 2007.

Here we have cute little “Miss Mousey” doing some evening exploring in the woods.
Attired in her pink dress, she carries a glowing lantern.
It appears she has come
upon an established business, WHOO’S INN, within a hollow tree trunk.
Miss Mousey is talking to the owl standing in the doorway of his “Inn”.

Full “ANNETTE PETERSEN” Signature Piece

Here’s a RARE piece! In 1993 Annette Petersen created
this display piece for each store that carried her
Wee Forest Folk line of mouse figurines.

This figurine has five little mice holding a long WEE FOREST FOLK banner. Behind them is the roofline
of their forest village.

This collector's item is numbered #983 and is the only piece
I have ever seen which bears her complete
signature on the bottom.

Our WFF display piece is in MINT condition. It has lived its
