Blue Parrot

Icart mixes animals with gorgeous women in his etchings. “Blue Parrot” has three different animals: a parrot, a beautiful lady, and a mischievous terrier. The lady, dressed in high fashion, looks at her blue parrot, while the puppy focuses on her.

If the viewer will watch long enough, maybe a breeze will lift that short night gown. Icart captures a young woman, leaning from her attic window. She seems to be talking with someone below, or she is watching a street event. He is naughty enough to etch her room messy with scattered articles of clothing.
